So you want to know more about the TKI?
What is the Thomas-Kilmann Instrument (TKI)?
The TKI is an assessment that determines how you tend to respond to conflict (your preferred method), and what additional conflict-handling options are available to you. It takes about 20 minutes to complete and there are no right or wrong answers!
How many questions are there? How long does it take?
There is only one question (!) which is then followed by 30 pairs of responses that you choose from — either (A) or (B). The entire assessment takes between 15 and 20 minutes to complete.
Is conflict bad?
While the word definitely has a negative connotation, we only use it to define a situation where two people want different things. So while it can be bad, it can also be a good thing. Without conflict, we can’t have resolution!
Do you have a sample report?
We definitely do – please contact us for a free sample report!
Can I take the TKI in a different language?
We may offer the TKI in other languages online in the near future, but for now, please contact us and let us know which language or languages you are most interested in!
What makes the TKI unique?
There are several things, but as of now it is the only conflict assessment that has proven to be both reliable AND valid via empirical research before, during, and after it’s development.
Do you offer group discounts or quantity pricing?
Yes we do –
|1-24 TKI Assessments:||$45|
|25-49 TKI Assessments:||$42.50|
|50+ TKI Assessments:||$40|
Please visit our TKI for Groups page for more information or to order TKIs for your group.
Are there any research studies that have been done regarding the TKI?
Absolutely. It has been well researched and continues to be used as a part of case studies, peer-reviewed academic studies, global research projects, and Ph.D thesis projects to this day.
